Hollywood actress Emma Watson of ‘Hary Potter’ fame has been appointed a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador by UN Women, a specialized UN agency dedicated to gender equality and women empowerment. Watson, popularly known for her role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter series recently completed her graduation from Brown University. She will dedicate her efforts as UN Women Goodwill Ambassador toward the empowerment of young women. She will also serve as an advocate for UN Women’s ‘He for She’ Campaign promoting gender equality.
